Mridula Amin
Mridula Amin is a Dhaka-born Australian photojournalist and reporter. Her work focuses on themes of inequality, migration, identity and social justice in the Asia-Pacific region.
She became a member of Oculi, Australia’s leading collective of photographers in 2020. She is a full member of Women Photograph and Diversify Photo.
She graduated with a Bachelors of Media and Bachelors of Law (BA-Media/L.L.B) from Macquarie University, Sydney in 2018. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales as a Lawyer in 2018.
Her work has been featured by The New York Times, National Geographic, ABC, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Special Broadcasting Service, New Statesman Magazine, De Tijd and VICE News.
She presents at speaking engagements and has run workshops for organisations including the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, Canon, NSW Department of Education, Head On Photo Festival, Sunstudios.
