Ben Reynolds
Ben Reynolds (b.1972) is a Fremantle based photographic artist and commercial photographer who studied photography formally at the Central Institute of Technology in Perth and has since gone on to pursue a commercial career as a Photographer/Videographer and Content Creator.
Ben has also followed his passion as a photographic artist and been exhibited broadly through a number of exhibitions, gallery’s and photo-awards.
Ben was named Australasia’s Top Ten Emerging Documentary Photographers through Capture Magazine from 2017-2020. Ben has also been a Finalist in the Head On Landscape Prize and a Semi-Finalist in the Moran Photography prize.
Ben has held two solo exhibitions including; 50 Unknown (2010, PhotoFreo, Fremantle), and Stirlings Above and Beyond (2013 – Vancouver Arts Centre Albany), and is presently working towards exhibiting and developing a photobook for a new project called ‘A Portrait of Cars’, documenting the car culture on the coastal strip between Cottesloe and Fremantle.
