The Australian Photography Awards returns for its 10th edition, bringing together photographers from across the country for a celebration of Australian image-making.
Join us in Naarm/Melbourne at the iconic Abbotsford Convent on Saturday 1st August, featuring the 2026 award announcements, an exhibition of this year’s shortlisted images, a retrospective of the past 10 years, artist talks, drinks, and the chance to connect with photographers, curators, educators and the wider creative community.
Whether you’re an exhibiting artist, entrant, industry professional or simply passionate about photography, we’d love to celebrate this milestone with you.
The exhibition will be open until Sunday 9th August, so if you can’t make the opening celebrations head to the Abbotsford Convent over the following week to enjoy the incredible artworks on display.
