In collaboration with our friends at Tall Poppy Press and ACB Press, we are excited to present a brand new art book fair coming to Naarm/Melbourne in 2023.
MEL Photobook Fair aims to shine a light on local publishing and welcome exhibitors and visitors to immerse themselves in books and print. With a strong focus on process and output, the event is the perfect opportunity for independent artist books, works in progress and zines to sit alongside established publishers in an all encompassing space designed to provide an atmosphere of community and collaboration.
Applications Open
Applications are currently open to any individual, group or organisation looking to showcase their book, zine or catalogue.
MEL Photobook Fair is completely free and welcome to all. The event will be hosted at Collarts over the weekend of 18th-19th of March, 2023. All are welcome to visit and attend.
The Fair is divided into two sections; a large photobook exhibitor hall where publishers, artists and stores will have books to browse and buy alongside a smaller event space where a series of talks, workshops and launches will be taking place over the weekend.
