Clare Jellie
Clare Jellie (b.1991 Warrnambool, Victoria) is an emerging documentary photographer and image maker based in Naarm/Melbourne.
Alongside completing her Bachelor of Photography in 2020, Jellie was awarded highly commended for Capture Magazine’s Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographers (2020) and was also shortlisted for the Australian Photography Awards in the Documentary Photography category. A selection of her work has been featured in the Monash Gallery of Art’s Atrium Gallery (2021), Wolfhound Gallery (2021) and Hillvale Gallery (2019).
Jellie’s work predominantly tells stories of people and place, while exploring concepts of connection, attachment and memory.
