Through the open library, the public will explore publications that have informed and shaped acb press. Each publication is chosen for a critical design approach, furthermore investigating the role of collaboration between photographer, designer, and publisher.
Books are on display to create a conversation around photography and photo-book design. Included is a presentation by founder Rohan Hutchinson.
Founded in 2020 acb press in a platform centered around the Photo-book, it consists of an imprint, studio, and a reference-based library. Here current, old, and rare photo books will be on display and discussed, furthermore investigating the role of collaboration between Photographer, designer, and publisher.
Speakers
Rohan Hutchinson is a photographer, photo book maker, and designer. Hutchinson has worked and been an educator within the global art book market for over 10 years and his books are held in collections around the world.
acb press is an independent publishing platform set up to educate and create conversations around photo book publishing and design. The platform comprises the acb press, an imprint that promote collaboration and research possibilities in photographic presentation, the acb studio offering multidisciplinary design for printed matter, and the acb library, a reference-based tool for current, old and rare photo books.
