APA 2023 is now open for entries! Now in its eighth edition, we are proud to have seen this program grow to become the progressive and inclusive initiative that it is today. We invite new and returning photographers to take part in this major celebration of Australian photography. Photos can be made anywhere in the world, just as long as the photographs are made by a person residing within Australia or any person living outside of Australia with Australian citizenship or residency.
Growing on the success of last year, in 2023 we are excited to announce a major program taking place in Naarm/Melbourne during October featuring artist talks and workshops alongside indoor and outdoor artwork installations. Alongside a $40,000 prize pool, selected entrants will be featured in a major exhibition, published in the APA Annual and invited to take part in the event program.
